If you are like me and do not have a grill but still enjoy the please of grilled meats then this one is for you! Air Fryer Bratwurst gives you the illusion that you spend a good amount of time over a grill cooking them but in reality the air fryer did all of the work!
These produce less mess, less grease sprinkling all over the place and totally hands off!

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER BRATWURST:
INGREDIENTS:
- Bratwurst: Any kind of brat can be used, such as beer brats but also like the original.
- Bell Peppers: Mix it up or keep it on color!
- Onions. I use white onion but you could use even Vidalia for a touch of sweetness.
- Mustard: Our preferred topping but you can do ketchup and pickles too!
- Hot Dog Buns: Such an easy bread to serve these on.

DIRECTIONS:
- With a fork poke holes on both sides of brats.
- Place in air fryer. Cook at 375 for 12-15 mins, flipping half way. (No need to preheat)
- Brats are done at temp 160 F but will be still a little pink inside (around 12 minute mark).

- We like ours a little less pink so we keep them in for the full 15 minutes.
- While bratwurst are cooking, in a saute pan add olive oil, onions, and peppers. Saute for 8-10 minutes or until softened.

- Place brats in bun, top with onions and peppers. Drizzle with mustard.

NOTES & STORAGE:
My favorite hack is to poke holes in the air fryer bratwurst. It helps get them cooked all the way through, quicker!
No need to store these, eat them right away!
