Strawberry Frosted Cookie Bars

  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough 16.5 oz
  • 4 tablespoons valentine’s themed sprinkles separated
  • 1 cup strawberry frosting ½ a 16 oz tub

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8x8” baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. Allow dough to come to room temperature. (About 15 minutes)
  • Mix two tablespoons of sprinkles in cookie dough until evenly distributed. Press dough into prepared pan in an even layer. 
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Allow cookie bar to cool completely in pan before removing.
  • Frost completely cooled cookie bar with strawberry frosting. Top frosting with remaining sprinkles. Allow frosting to set before cutting into 16 squares.
