Lucky Sugar Cookies

Lucky Sugar Cookies are a fun treat for the kids! I take my basic sugar cookie recipe and add Lucky Charms cereal to it!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter softened (8 tablespoons)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup all purpose flour + 2 tablespoons
  • 1 cup lucky charms cereal

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 375 F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In bowl add butter and sugar. Mix well.
    adding sugar into glass bowl with butter.
  • Add egg and vanilla and continue to mix.

  • Add flour and baking soda. Mix.

  • Stir in cereal.
    adding cereal to cookie dough.
  • Using a cookie scoop, scoop into baking sheet.
    lucky charm cookies uncooked.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve and ENJOY!

Notes

*Press in some extra marshmallows to the top of your cookies when hot for decoration.
