Ingredients

sugar

cherries
pitted and sliced in half
1/2
teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
In a medium size pot add water and sugar. Cook for about 2 minutes, just until sugar dissolves.
Next, add in the cherries. Stir and allow to simmer and medium-low heat for 13 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Add in vanilla, stir and allow to simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove and cool.
Serve and ENJOY!
