Chocolate Hazelnut Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate hazelnut spread such as Nutella
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 °F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In mixing bowl whisk together sugar and eggs.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder and cocoa powder. Add to egg mixture. Stir well.
  • Add vanilla and chocolate hazelnut spread. Stir.
  • Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop out 1 tablespoon cookie dough and roll into powdered sugar.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for 2 minutes then remove from sheet and continue to cool completely on a cooling rack.
  • Serve and ENJOY!
